Kata Kunci:

Oneness Pentecostalism; Jesus Only; Trinity doctrine.

Abstrak

The Oneness Pentecostalism movement rejects the doctrine of the Trinity and teaches that God is one person, Jesus Christ, who manifests in various forms. This study employs a qualitative approach with a literature review method to analyze the "Jesus Only" doctrine in the context of Christian theology, referring to theological books, journal articles, and the Bible. Through a comparative analysis, this study compares the "Jesus Only" doctrine with the traditional Trinity doctrine and evaluates its impact on Christians' understanding of God and salvation. The "Jesus Only" teaching considers Jesus as the only person of God and views Matthew 28:19 as the unification of God's roles in the name of Jesus, while the Trinity doctrine emphasizes the relational aspect between the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. This teaching creates differences in worship practices and the understanding of salvation within the church.
