Abstract

Christian Education in the Modern Era faces significant challenges influenced by globalization, secularization, pluralism, and technological advancements, all of which affect teaching methods and the values of faith instilled in education. These phenomena demand a deep understanding of the sociological foundations of Christian education to maintain its relevance and effectiveness. This study aims to identify the sociological foundations of Christian education in addressing social changes and to analyze the impact of culture and technology on Christian educational practices. The research method used is a literature review with content analysis of relevant theoretical sources. The findings show that integrating the sociology of education with Christian faith principles is essential in creating adaptive learning models, strengthening character, and building students' spirituality. Furthermore, families, churches, and schools play key roles in supporting holistic Christian education. In conclusion, to face the challenges of modern times, Christian education must integrate technology with Christian values, while strengthening the synergy between family, church, and school in shaping a generation ready to make a positive impact on society.
