Abstract

Old Testament theology is often understood partially by emphasizing historical aspects, legal traditions, or particular biblical figures, resulting in limited attention to its theological unity. This study aims to analyze Old Testament theology through a biblical theology approach by identifying the major themes that shape God's revelation in the history of salvation. The research employed a qualitative method using a library research approach through the analysis of Old Testament texts and relevant theological literature. The findings reveal that God is the central focus of revelation in the Old Testament, while the covenant serves as the unifying thread connecting creation, the Law, the Kingdom of God, prophecy, wisdom, worship, and the Messianic hope. These themes develop progressively toward the fulfillment of God's redemptive plan. This study concludes that Old Testament theology possesses a coherent theological unity and remains highly relevant as a doctrinal, spiritual, ethical, and missional foundation for the contemporary church in responding to present-day ministry challenges.
