Abstract
The relevance of occult practices in modern society and the challenges faced by the church in implementing the Great Commission of Matthew 28:16-20. Despite technological advancements, occult practices such as witchcraft and spirit summoning still exist, threatening the faith of congregants who lack understanding. The Great Commission emphasizes the importance of evangelism and deliverance ministry as integral parts of the church's mission, with the authority of Christ as its foundation. Through an expository theological approach, this paper highlights the need for the church to actively reach out to individuals bound by the powers of darkness, as well as the importance of baptism and discipleship in the restoration process. Deliverance ministry is not merely optional but essential for bringing true healing. Thus, the church is called to be light and salt, presenting the liberating power of Christ in facing the spiritual challenges of this age.
